Hello everyone,I'm new at this, so I might not get it right the first time, but eventually it will all fall into place.A synopsis of me would start with a happy marriage of 37 years, six wonderful children and the greatest 15 grandchildren in the world. I also have a large dog and a striped cat who have never met because I really like my cat and so would my dog, she thinks they taste like chicken!I have a degree in dietetics, but decided my paving block in the road of life lies in writing. although I have written numerous children's books, short stories and a few novels, the thing I am working on now is a Gluten-free Cookbook. It is complete. We chose to self-publish because of the ease of putting the books together, the complete control we have over its sales, expansion, etc. and we do not need to share so much of the profits. I also host a Gluten-free support group at the local health food store once a month. The number of people affected by this problem is very surprising. Opra's OBGYN, Dr. Christine stated on a recent program that 1 in 4 women over the age of 50 have a gluten intolerance. That's a lot of very unhealthy people running around. My biggest goal with the book is to reach out to those struggling to maintain a healthy diet, and help them to feel like they are part of the human race again. Believe me, once you figure out all of the things you can not eat, you begin to wonder if there is life beyond that poisonous stock of wheat.
